Working Group on Monitoring the Implementation of the Bologna Process
The Working Group on Monitoring the Implementation of the Bologna Process is one of the long-standing working structures of the Bologna Follow-Up Group, first established in 2003 to assess the main developments in the Bologna Process and the extent to which commitments agreed upon by ministers are implemented in the national higher education systems. Since 2010, the working group has supported the elaboration of the Bologna Process Implementation Report, authored by Eurydice, ensuring accurate comparisons between countries and that implementation and other changes are transparent within and between countries. Through the Tirana Ministerial Communiqué, the Working Group on Monitoring was mandated to ensure that policy commitments aiming at creating by 2030 an inclusive, innovative, and interconnected EHEA, mindful of the fundamental values, are appropriately monitored through a Bologna Process Implementation Report that assesses key developments.
